Fall is touching the high Sierras with a bit of color but not the full show yet. It is a warm September morning and the air and lake are crystal clear, allowing one to see the bottom of the lake and the activity below. The crowds are gone, back to work and school, with just a few stragglers still in their camp sites. This is the time the wildlife reclaim the wilderness. The quiet times have come again.
